Disappointed!!!!

I most definitely understand. I knew they were giving me wrong information on the second page of the booklet. I will be my own advocate for sure. I was just saddened by the misinformation. I already have my vitamins waiting so I should be good there. Thanks for the insight.

My surgeon's program also gave out substandard, RNY instructions for nutrition.  One of her staff actually went so far as to write a book about wls living and the DS chapter had us taking an additional 400iu of D.  That was the last time I ever attended the support meetings.  I'd told her on my follow up appts that her recommendations are not enough for DSers to sustain and she nodded and smiled, then they continued to do the same thing that got my labs tanking in no time flat.  It's very disappointing indeed.  It's the sharing out here that got my levels where they need to be and I'll always be grateful.

For the last two years I having been paying attention to those who share information and I am very grateful for all the vets that share their knowledge with the newbies!
