Multi vitamin??

I need to find a multivitamin that is a complete formula with iron and B vitamins. I've been looking several places but the ones I think will work do not list if it has all the B vitamins included.

Bariatric Advantage has multivitamins in crystal form that you mix with liquid, or pills, does that choice just come down to preference, or is there an advantage of one over the other?

Any suggestions of brand and where to get them is greatly appreciated.

Thank You!!

Check out Puritan.com.  I buy lots from them.  Now I am lucky and don't have to supplement iron but that's not the case for everyone.  It's not likely you are going to find a multi that gives you enough iron.  Here's great guideline for you.  Look up Vitalady's DS package and use that to get an idea of how much of everything you should be taking.  Just realize you are going to need a lot more than just a couple pills a day!

Something to keep in mind: If you get a multivitamin with iron in it, that means that you won't be able to take any calcium at the same time as your multi.

You might want to do the iron and B separate. The iron in the multi makes it hard to do your vitamin batches. In the beginning I used a Flintstones chewable complete based on Docs recommendation. I don't recommend it.

We use the Kirkland (Costco) brand as that is the multi that Vitalady puts in her DS packs. As long as your multi is the equivalent to Centrum, go for it. I tweak the rest of mine based on my lab work...but the Kirkland multi works fone for most of us.

I use the Kirkland brand also.  It's as good as Centrum.

Personally, I take the iron separately.  And I take all the calcium separately.

I think I need to talk to my doc about the iron. His nurse said something about not needing iron if someone is no longer menstrating. I had a hysterectomy so I'd fall into that category. Hopfully I wont need to take it. Thank you for your replies, they are very helpful.

I'm post-hysti and still need iron. Don't fall for that one from the nurse.
