Almost three weeks out... feeling GREAT!

Hello everyone!! I had my DS on Nov 12th so I will be three weeks on Tues and I am doing great. Felt awful for the first few days... Struggled to drink anything for a few days BUT now I am doing very well. Way better than I thought I would this fast. I am able to take my Vitamins and have been doing well eating. I am down 25 pounds!  The weight is even coming off faster than I expected.... The only issue I had was one of my incision opened up and I had issues trying to get it to heal and close... It is closed now... Thank goodness :)

Wow and congrats!!!!  That is great to hear bc I'm having my surgery the week before christmas.  How will I feel Christmas Day?  Hoping I will be able to hide this from my extended family.  I'm hoping I will be able to move around just fine and no one will notice I'm not eating lol.  I've had 2 c sections and dealt with those just fine.

Wow, you are doing the Dan thing.  I'm 4 weeks and have had every problem known to  surgery. 25 pounds that's awesome now can you send me some of your speedy recovery/ high power weight loss energy.  Lol keep up the great work.

Thank you everyone! I know we all just going in hoping and praying all will go perfect and healing will be smooth but just never know.... I am very thankful that I have had no issues at this point... Hope any of you getting ready for surgery have  perfect outcome like I did...

MissDee1 I think if you are going to be about a week out..... hiding it may be a bit tough.... I know I felt pretty bad the first week. I slept when I could ...I layed down and did nothing when I felt bad and well just had a mini pity party for a few days :) Hopefully you will have a pleasant recovery and be able to enjoy a happy healthy Holiday!  Good Luck hun!
