I finally made protein coffee the correct way. Wow!!! It is so delicious, heck I guess I have to make a point of making it this way more often. Instead of the cold latte version that has become a staple for me.

**The doctor did a Sphinctorotomy on Monday.  That is where he cuts the muscle to allow the Fissure to heal.  That was what the HORRIBLE pain was.  I've been in a LOT of pain but he said that once it heals that I will not have any pain ever again YAY!!!!  I am no longer allowed to eat nuts/seeds, coffee (sad!), or chocolate due to the caffeine.  But thank goodness there is an end in site to this awful tushy pain! AND he said that the heavy lifting I do did NOT cause the fissures which  I was SO relieved to hear**

Owie - I hope you recover soon.  Just a thought, but could your low fat diet have anything to do with your tushy issues?

I thought the exact same thing!  I talked to my DS doctor and he said that because I don't have trouble going (twice a day everyday) with no straining or pushing that he doesn't think that that would be the case.  I think just to be safe for a while that I might up the healthy fats.

Swinging lizards. I hope that does it and the fissure heals quickly.

I got some lab results back and my ALP is high so I'm being referred to an endecrynologist.  My calcium is still low despite 6 batches of 600mg, strontium, 1000,000iu dry D3, 1,000mcg K1 and 500mcg of K2 (although my doc said that my blood clotting is fine).  My iron's low, but the hema will see me again just before Christmas and he seemed fine with the idea of infusions.  D, PTH and Zinc are still pending and I'll post them all when I get all the results.

B Decaff protein coffee 30
S Greek yogurt 20
l Roast beef 30
S Peanuts 10
S Cheese 10
D Chicken casserole 30

Protein: 130
F 72+

Where does your calcium lab fall in the lab's acceptable range? Low normal is where you want to be. Stay with your K1 for blood clotting. K2 will help your bones. Keep us posted as the rest of your labs come in.  :)
