Go to eBay or Amazon and search Strontium. You should get some sources there. I haven't ordered it yet. but I'm going to next week. Also look on Lucky Vitamin. I've seen it before, I just cant remember where, but I do remember it's not cheap!
There are several kinds of strotnium. if it's stated generically, you want strontium citrate.
Always check with your doctor...but many of them do not understand DS needs, so take that advice with a grain of salt, and learn, learn, learn...so you will be able to advocate for yourself. It's pretty much a requirement if you have a DS.

H Pylori is one of those things that most people have, but it normally does not cause any symptoms. It does increase your risk of getting an ulcer by 10-20%. At any time about 2/3 of the people in the world are harboring H Pylori.
Doctors really do not know where it comes from, but it believed to be contacted during childhood. There is a simple course of treatment of it and getting rid of it is good for a weight loss patient.
My experience with PTH is different than what I have seem on this board. After two high readings six months apart, I was referred to an Endocrinologist. He took me off of calcium supplements. I was using the chewable calcium like candy and taking more per day than the bottle recommended. I figured extra calcium to be a good thing. All of the extra calcium in my blood was imitating PTH. Calcium was not leeching out of my bones, I was just putting too much in.
When I quit taking calcium supplements, my PTH went back to normal. I do not take any calcium supplements and my surgeon is satisfied with my labs and dexa scans.
Which chewable calcium...we need calcium citrate not carbonate and most chewables are the wrong kind of calcium. I think vitalady carries a chewable calcium that is the correct kind...but many are the wrong one.

Ii take at least 6 doses of Calcium Citrate (two pills is one dose) with 2 Magnesium Citrates, Potassium and Dry D 3-4 times a day. I also take Vit K1 and K2 and if my PTH was high I would add Boron and Strontium. You aren't getting enough Calcium IMO. Some of us need more than others. Your labs say what you need and that is more Calcium and more help absorbing it. I took UpCalD early out because there were just so many pills, but now I take Calcium Citrate from Walmart and my labs are doing fine (with my many many doses per day).
Good luck!!
