Well I saw the hematologist and he wrote out a form for me to get some bloodwork done - really?  I had to see him person to get a form??  No wonder the NHS is in the state it's in - I should be sent a form to get the necessary bloodwork done and then WHEN they have the results I should see the doc.  I really struggle to get the time from work!! blush

Anyways, I'm gonna get stabbed tomorrow so no vites 'til then.

B Decaff protein coffee 30
S Greek yogurt 20
L Sausage casserole 30
S Peanuts 10
D Chicken Kiev 30

Protein: 120
F 72+
V Morning batches only - labs due tomorrow so skipping on purpose

ETA: He'd never heard of carbonyl - I can't believe that's so unusual for a Hema to have heard over here, but I guess I have no clue what is the 'norm' when it comes to that kind of stuff in the UK.  I had to double check that's what Tender iron really is he he mail

Medical really is a redundant, inefficient mess. It's no better here with the insurance companies enforcing inefficiency and ridiculous protocols. If your hematologist didn't know carbonyl I wonder if he knows heme iron. All they seem to want to prescribe here is ferrous sulfate---useless crap.
