Support Group in DFW area

I am scheduled for DS surgery in Dec. with Dr. Ayoola.  Are there any DS support groups in the Dallas area?  Would like to meet up with others that have had the DS surgery.   

Dr. Ayoola's office has support group once a month.  Check with Jessica.  It's not DS specific, but it might help.  

We have a FB group.  Most of us are Dr. Stewart's/ Dr. Ayoola's patients.   We try to meet once a month.  Either out to dinner or a potluck at someone's home.  We are a close group & would love to have you join the group.  You can friend me on FB-- Brenda Dixon Hamilton and I can have you added.

Thanks Brenda.  I live in Mesquite but hope can get acquainted with the group.  As my surgery gets closer getting more anxious!

Hi Brenda I tried to add you on Facebook a while back. I just had the DS with Dr Ayoola. Will be at the meeting tomorrow night 

I am also hoping to have my DS with Ayoola scheduled either Dec 23 or Dec 30..

Yes I will let you know :) It'll be at Baylor Plano. I was actually scheduled this Monday Dec 16th to have Gastric Bypass surgery with Dr Provost but cancelled last week because I found out Dr Ayoola was now in my insurance network and I had my heart set on the DS. God willing I made the right decision. When are you scheduled? 

My surgery date is tenatively scheduled for Dec. 30 at Baylor Plano but waiting to hear from Jessica re my pre-op appt with Dr. Ayoola and pre-reg at hospital.  Hope I hear from her soon as getting more and more anxious about it.  I am happy you can qualify for DS as it seems to be the best option available now.  Keep me posted on your progress.

Hey how are you doing? I'm 17 days out and was doing good up until 2 days ago. Started having severe pain to the left of my belly button. It comes and goes waiting on a call back from Dr Ayoolas office,
