Sixth day of the low carb challenge I got the munchies yesterday but things worked well regardless. It must be all the plain water I'm drinking. I never realized what a big deal that was. I totally messed up today--grilled cheese sandwich. : (

You're too strong Gina - I just can't believe how saintly you are ;-)
My puff pastry chicken pie was fun - I wasn't intending to eat the pastry and this is the first time I've ever cooked puff pastry... well I didn't leave enough space from the top of the oven for it to rise without it burning he he!! ;-) DH was sitting in the room and I can't believe he couldn't smell the burning. I walked in and the oven had had the pie in it for about 20 minutes. BTW it was a pre-made one as I'm so not a chef!!.

Well, I flunked saint school today, I had a sourdough grilled cheese sandwich today. 44 carbs. {sigh}
I do love puff pastry, oh my goodness, it's so good...but deadly.

Love your comment about flunking saint school! Me too, over and over.
Minor ice storm yesterday, but I was out when it was at its worst. Came home early trying to miss it. Wanted to bake cookies......goes with winter weather, I guess....but didn't have the ingredients.

Hey friends! I haven't done this before but I figured I would try my hand. 😊
Breakfast: protein shake (30 G protein)
breakfast 2: 1/2 cup ham, onion and cheese omelet made by my awesome hubs! And a little sour cream and salsa (10 G protein?)
lunch: cheddar broccoli soup thanks to mother in law - wish I would have brought unflavored protein powder to throw in... Oh well! (Protein 10 G protein?)
dinner: will either have some cashew chicken or another shake (30 G protein either way)
total : 80 G protein
vites: still working on them
exercites: feeling sick so skipped the daily walk/jog 😊
