Thank you. Dr. Roslin is now encouraging the one loop DS versus the traditional DS. Roslin feels the one loop DS is just as good as the traditional DS . Roslin states that weight loss is similar and since their is less rerouting it should be less vitamin issues. Roslin feels that this will eventually be the knew DS. I'm unsure because their isn't enough data so I think I'm going with the traditional.
To be perfectly honest, I can't speak to the loop but will be looking it up. If you are definitive and researched about your choices, he will usually listen. Ultimately, he almost always lets you have the final say.
