X-Post -Bariatric Supply Pantry - how to get started

There are so many people (often I am amazed how many) that hit hard times and have no idea where to go for cheaper vitamins.  Or how to purchase regular items like milk and make yogurt, sour cream, and cottage cheese at a quarter of the price. 

How to make insulated window coverings from Goodwill stuff that keeps the heat in the house. 

Or how to make 5 gallons of laundry detergent from a bar of Fels Naptha soap (and it works every bit as good as Tide and is HE also!). 

I just bought my first box of bacon from Zaycon.  It's good bacon. 

I have at one time or another done all of the above!  I'm looking forward to the ground meat from Zaycon.  I think I will either make loose meat or sloppy joes first.  Got the 'good' freezer bags from Costco for the rest of it.

I am thankful for my mom and grandma who taught me so much!
