Have any of you gained weight after your DS?

Just curious if folks have struggled with major regain several years out with the DS. All the research shows that DS folks maintain their weight more effectively than the other surgeries but I was wondering how accurate that is.

I'm almost 10 years out, and I've had no regain. Oh, my weight bounces up and down by about five pounds, but I think that's true for almost everyone. I don't own any scales, so I only weigh at the doctor's office, and I normally only see the doc four times a year. I tend to weigh about five pounds more in winter, about five pounds less in summer. This is true for most 'normies', too.

I gain and lose all the time.  But there is no doubt the DS is the best there is today.  If there was something more drastic, I would have done it!

I'm 6 years out and about 6-8 pounds up from my very lowest.

I am three years out and still losing weight steadily.  I got very lucky in that I have not hit any significant plateaus.  It is HARD work and the work continues years out but it is ALL worth it.

Thankfully we have this tool so even if we slip up we can just go back to basics and we should lose weight, albeit at a slower rate but our "innards" are forever changed.  Shouldn't be an excuse to mess up but as humans we know we will so at least this tool will always be in our tool box.

I am 7 years out and don't have any problems maintaining my weight.  My goal weight was 140 and with no dieting I am sticking right around 143/144.  I use to stress about it (extra 5 pounds) but have just come to conclusion that my body likes this weight.
