Did you have a 2 part DS? If so, was the weight loss slower than Virgin DS?

I'm just curious if those who have had the sleeve then DS had slower weight loss than a virgin DS'r and how many years out from the sleeve did you have your DS. Would love to hear about your experience and if you were able to lose weight with the DS as a two parter.

I'm also curious about others experience with 2 stage DS. I am hoping to be "switched" sometime in the next few months and it's been a year since I had the "sleeve" portion done. 

I am a 2 parter, with about 4 years between surgeries. I regained about 40 pounds after the VSG, so got a DS, never lost a pound, in fact, gained at least 15 since the surgery. Not happy. I am being resleeved in early 2014. My stomach is just too stretched out for any ds success right now.

Why were you not resleeved at the time of the DS? 

We did not realize how much the stomach was stretched out. Surgeon said it looked big but I thought I still had enough restriction, I was wrong.

Sleeve 2010. First thing they did was a barium swallow, and told me I HAD to be resleeved. Anyone who allowed you to get the DS with a too large stomach, well I just can't believe it...How many calories were you eating after the DS? 

Probably around 1500 calories. Max. High pro, low carb.
