How do we stop losing weight?
Some may advise against it but when I approached my goal, I started enjoying a little. I added some fun carbs. I didn't go butt-wild, but I had a daily sweet (and still do now 8 yrs later) and maybe some toast with my ricotta fluff...just little things. I must warn that it's a delicate balance, though, for it takes some self-control for a sugar **** like me. I do find that at times cravings may get too strong, and I put myself through a detox of sorts.

I hit my rock bottom weight a year ago. My husband asked me not to lose any more. The look of aging increased dramatically, giving me a sickly look too. At first I added healthy carbs like fresh fruit and veggies. My weight stabilized. Now I can just about eat anything I want in the small portions my stomach allows. My protein always comes first, with shakes, protein fruit drinks, and a healthy dinner with my family. We don't eat out often, no fast food. I do have nightly ice cream, good for calcium, dried fruit, a few hard candies, chocolate, not really any salty snacks. Some of my meals are low calorie, high fat like chicken w/salad, full fat dressing. Meals like this and meat only meals keep me from gaining too much. I have been hovering around 119-122 for the past year and 1/2. Never more than 125 lbs. I do weigh every day, always have. Weighing is not a negative issue for me. I want to know right away if I need to curb my treats. Not counting any calories, carbs or keeping track of anything except protein and fluids.
