I'm hoping to lose another 12 to 17 pounds. I lost 5 pounds this week and didn't do anything different. I'm starting to get the your looking thin or are you feeling okay. I feel great! So how do we shut off the weight loss when we feel we are getting too thin. I never thought I would want to stop losing weight. I haven't been this small for 20 plus years. Its great!!!

Carbs! Also, remember that there will be a bounce back from your lowest weight of 10-20 pounds. I remember feeling panicky at the time too, but man, I wish I would've let my body go as low as tolerable to account for that BBW.

The bounce back is real.  If you can, go 20lbs or so lower than where you want to end up.  You will be glad you did!

What's your BMI?  People who have been heavy all their lives, and the people who have only seen you heavy, will tend to think you look too thin when you really aren't even close to too thin.  Also remember your weight will still be redistributing over time.

Carbs will stop your weight loss.

Don't panic and don't add evil carbs! This is a process. Let your body go as low as it will, the bounce back and regain will bring you back up to where you want to maintain. You will also redistribute after you hit goal and your face and other flabby parts will fill out again. Hang on and stay the course.

I don't tolerate carbs very well. No carbs, no candy. I will stay the course. Thanks!

Of course if we add carbs and stop we should be able to cut carbs and resume.

Once I reached goal...I started counting carbs again.  Not to keep from getting too many, but to get enough to keep my weight stable.

Still having a littte trouble stopping the loss, as sometimes I get up, and if it's a "weigh day", about once every 2-21/2 weeks, I have been shocked with a big drop!  I do notice my clothes getting a little loose, but often the drop is more htan indicated by the looseness of the clothes, since I have a lot of excess skin.

Still figuring out "stop"!
