It is nice to find another Utahn! Was your surgeon Dr. Cottam?  He offered that same exact surgery to me when I went to him for a revision. I hope you do really well with it!

Yep it was Dr. Cottam. So far it's been great - but only 5 weeks out so we shall see! Did you end up having surgery with him? Hope all is well with you too :)

I ddn't end up going with Dr. Cottam. I really liked him, but I'm looking for revision from RNY to full DS. I'm having surgery on Nov. 26 with Dr. Keshishian.

I've never heard of it, anc can't imagine how one loop can separate biliopancreatic juices from food, which is basically what the two-channel method does. 

I'd love to hear from someone who has some enlightnement on this, too.  Meantime, I'm going  to Google it to try to find out more.
