Amusement Park Rides?

I have a trip to Disneyland in one week, and Universal Studios in 2 weeks. I'll be 8 weeks for Disneyland and 9 weeks for Universal. I'm mostly concerned about the Transformer ride at Universal, it has a lot of twists and turns, and it's really fast. It's it too soon for me to have this type of action?

I think I would avoid any ride that straps you in across your belly and tends to pull and jerk you around. Otherwise, stay hydrated and have fun! : )

I went to Disneyland California Adventure at about 8 weeks out. I didn't have any problems on any of the rides (but I'm not sure how they compare to the Transformer ride at Universal).

Have fun! Take lots of snacks with you! :)

Thanks Amy! I'm pretty sure Disney will be fine, except for space mountain I guess. That transformer ride at universal is so fun, but there is a lot of action..lol!

I would recommend wearing some kind of binder to keep all of your incisions hugged.

You might want to just run this buy your surgeon and see what he/she has to say.

I checked with Dr. K, and he said I had no restrictions for amusement park rides or exercise, but I'm not 100% comfy with that...hmm!
