any ideas?
i have been constipated for a couple of days and ive tried otc stuff and ive been doin the miralax my dr told me to..is there anything else i can do? i dont want a bowl obstruction.. please help me, thanks

One should get things moving. I'd go for the one you'd enjoy the most given you're doing this on 'medical' grounds. I'd want the cream to speed the carbs through and minimize gaz - my own unproven theory that fat helps the carbs sneak through with less bloating.

Or, if you prefer, a piece of fruit pie of some sort. Like apple or peach pie. It's the sugar that does it.
My body doesn't react to sugar like this. It doesn't 'loosen things up' for me. So I turn to fat and fiber. I cook some veggies in heavy cream or have a deep fried something (like onion rings). Try this if the sugar doesn't break it loose.
Also, double up on your magnesium to see if that doesn't help. Magnesium usually breaks a constipation.
