DS Forum Get Together at OH Convention?

Since I just celebrated my 6 month anniversary of my DS, and there is Disney, the wife and I decided to take our four year old and travel from NY to go to the OH convention in Anaheim next week.  

I was wondering who from this forum was going to be there?  The DS is such a different animal than other WLS out there, so the best support is from other DSers sharing their wisdom, and telling from their own experiences what they will never do again!

Do we want to have a DS Forum get together to be able to connect faces to all our posts? If there is interest, I can help to arrange it. 

I doubt very seriously that OH will have anything geared to DSers. Most of their speakers, vendors etc are RNY and band friendly. I also hear their food is NOT DS friendly...all no/low fat.

Yeah, I kind of guessed that it may not be a DS fest based on the vendors that are going to be there.  On the other hand, the workshops the two of us are interested in are related more towards the plastic surgery,  My wife also has lost 160 pounds (without WLS) over the past 7 years, and so we both figured we'd get something out of consultations with plastic surgery docs.  More importantly, our four year old can get a Disney fix. (oh yeah, and it helps that we had enough reward miles to pay for our airfare!)  Still, figured I'd see if any DSers who are forum regulars are going out there.  Anyone, anyone?

Corbin, I have thought often about going to the convention through the years, but thought a DSer would be a fish out of water. It would be interesting to hear your take on it. Thanks!

In the end, business got in the way, and we've decided to cancel our trip to the OH convention.  Another time, perhaps!
