Talking today about remembering exactly what you were doing/where you were at certain key times.....Kennedy's assassination, the bombing here in OKC and 9/11.
Early morning flight. I'll just make do with eating. I've got protein bars and almonds pack for emergencies.
Going to get organized for low carbing late next week.

L: turkey and Swiss on 1 slice WW bread, sugar peas with ranch dressing

D: few bites of cheeseburger and fries...stopped eating cause it was not settling

E: work....totally busy day in clinic
Remembering...JFK assassination, I was sitting in 3d grade class when our teacher came back from being called to the office to tell us. I remember that feeling of shock like being hit in the chest. OKC bombing, we were on vacation at the beach. The boys were quite young. I remember the increased security at a federal building we walked to for lunch from our office in Richmond. 9.11 I was briefing a general officer when her XO popped in a whispered in her ear what had happened. She ended the briefing and took of for the Emergency Operations Center in our building. The rest of the day was surreal and chaotic...as were the following weeks. We lost a few of our own in the Pentagon that day.
