My Second Stall

it's time to try some new clothes on.  Even though your scale isn't changing, your body still is.  It won't get the scale moving, but it puts things back into perspective

I agree with jashley, don't cut calories - I found myself losing more weight when I ate more protein, fat, and some carbs.  Also, at the support group I went to last month, they suggested we should take pictures of ourselves daily, or at least weekly.  It helps when you have those stalls to see how your body is reducing and reshaping, as that is the best true barometer of your weight loss.  If I remember correctly, you posted some before/after pics here, yes?  You look amazing!  Keep looking at those for inspiration that you are doing right, and don't get discouraged, your weight loss will catch up with your body when it is good and ready.  As for the exercise, a thought - anyplace you can exercise in a pool?  The stress on your body is much less while in the water.

Exercising in water is a great idea.  Thanks for posting that.

I agree with Valerie. I was at a stall for about 21/2 weeks and was getting very discouraged. I went to get some new pants and decided to try on an 18 instead of a 20. When I tried on the 18 THEY were to baggy so had the lady get me a 16 and they FIT. I was so shocked- especially since I hadn't lost anything for several weeks, 2 days later I dropped another 4 pounds. I do believe we have to give our bodies a chance to just catch up,regroup and let our bodies do what it needs to do before we move on to losing more.

Hang in there!
