My Second Stall

Well it has been almost two weeks and the scale has not moved. I have tried a crispy creme donut....more protein shakes and less food...nuttin seems to move it yet. The only thing I have not tried is exercise. I will get out and move a bit this weekend and see if it does not break it. Sigh. You get so use to seeing the scale move that it is just crappy when it stops. LOL

Don't get too discouraged - you are losing weight at a good pace overall, and sometimes your body just needs to readjust.  Your surgery was within a few weeks of my own surgery date, and we are within 20 pounds of each other.  Exercise may be a good thing.

Might I also suggest increasing your fat a bit - gets everything out easier.  The KK plan also seems to work.  Maybe you have to give yourself a "carb day", with some carbs like KKs, poop it all out, then go back to high protein, low carb, and your body will go back to ketosis state.  You just have to plan for a day where you can be one with the potty after having a bad carb day.

I have found a healthy balance by trying to add in some fruits and veggies into my diet.  I think that has kept me from too many stalls.  Have faith, you're doing great!

Try doing something you love to do.  Riding a bike, swim, Zumba, walking your dog in the park. Anything that gets you moving and tricks  your bodyangry

I was hoping for another 30 pounds off before I start exercising because of the extreme pain it causes me. I will try something light. Sometimes I am bed/chair bound for a day after I exercise due to my back.

Hang in there and stay off the scale for a couple of days.  I think we get anxious about not losing and it affects our loss... Hang in there and keep doing what you are doing.  Your body is just taking a break.  Focus on your measurements.  I'll bet you are going to notice a change in how your body looks now compared to when you started your stall.

Hang in there

I would wait another 2 weeks before jerking the body around.  Our stalls tend to last longer as we get thinner.  But the weight does start down again, given time.

Don't cut your calories just yet.  That can make the body close up even tighter and hang onto the fat cells/water that it is storing.  Just relax, do your KK once in a while for a clean out, and wait another 2 weeks before taking matters into your own hands.

I'm in a two week stall also. I've lost 100 since thnxgiving and have 30 to go. I'm starting to worry that I've reached some sort of set point. Exercise hasn't been possible for me until recently. So, maybe that's my problem too. I look forward to hearing how it goes for you.
