DS surgeon coming to Ottawa Hospital

I was at the doctor's office the other day and he was all excited to tell me that a new surgeon will be performing the DS at the Ottawa Hospital - Not sure of the when or how or even who but I thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone else had heard this.

Hi, if you are referring to the Ottawa Civic hospital I suspect it's Dr. Amy Neville. If this is the case, you guys are soooo lucky! Dr. Neville operated with Dr. Court here in Montreal at the Royal Victoria Hospital. She left this past July to accept a post in Ottawa.

I had my surgery with Dr. Court though I dealt with Dr. Neville for the most part. Not only is she remarquably skilled, but she has THE BEST bedside manners. She actually cares!

That's so great to hear! She's going to be doing my RNY on October 17th. I've met her twice - once for surgical meeting and second time she performed my endoscopy. She's beautiful, smart and so very personable. I'm sold!
