I will have to try mixing them and see if I can stand it that way. I'd hate to completely waste them but I can't even get myself to go near them again unless I do something different. I have not tried the coffee mixture yet either.
Look for smoothie recipes on low carb web sites, or DS or RNY web sites. They use protein powders and berries, yogurt, syrups, etc. It can mask a crappy taste really well.
