My Pita Pizza Recipe! Low Carb!
One Joseph's Flax seed Pita bread 4g carbs
Catadina Squeezable pizza sauce 5 carbs (if you can find one with lower carbs then awesome)
Mozzerella cheese
Hormel Pepperoni
Only around 9 carbs for the whole thing. Perfect personal size and really I can only eat about half but saved it for later and ate the rests.
I cooked it in the oven on 375 for 8-10 minutes. The pita was crust crispy and just right for me. I am sure you can cook it longer to make it crispier or less if you want.
I felt like I was able to eat real pizza again only it is within my carb range and high in protein with a good amount of fat.
