I don't know what I was expecting, but recovery is not what I thought it would be. I could have gone back to work last week. I've been back at my zumba (1 hour...modified) for the past three days. I'm getting in 50 g of protein. The hardest part of this process has been to eat slowly. I prayed to the porcelain god a few times this week, but I'm learning how I need to eat. I am a little concerned that I'm not getting in enough calories, though.
Good for you! Are you using protein shakes to help with protein and calories. Might help.

Congrats and 50g protein is great for someone less than 3 weeks out. Don't worry about the calories just yet - your main job is hydration and protein as you have been. You should add vitamins as soon as you feel able to and your program allows.
