Vitamin A deficiency

I would not take the veterinary formula, especially when you can have Vit A IM  USP compounded for you.  as i said in another post, compounded injections, including fat soluble are used for CF, chrons, short guts, this is not new, it is kinda like the DS, not known much in the wls (oh I never heard of the ds?)....but compounded IM injections do exist, one of my injections today....you do have a way to get you vit a up.... 

If the compounding pharmacies don't help, then perhaps you can try these manufacturers in India (a lot of generics come from there):

Would that be Aquasol-A you're talking about?

lacognata, I know you said you have tried everything, but have you tried taking 100k dry A in the middle of the night (without any food).  This technique helped me get my D levels up. 

What Jenny said!  I've been taking my dry vitamins in the middle of the night away from food for almost 4 years.  My D kept sliding down taking 150-200k a day, but I took it with my meals during the day.  Once I changed to taking it in the middle of the night my numbers came up quickly and I'm back to 1-50k daily, with my 25k A and my E.  Now, my D averages 100-120 and my A is in the high normal range.
