How long?

Ok so just recently I got my surgical clearance from my doctor and all the necessary blood work done. My surgeons office sent in my information to the insurance company, and now I'm waiting to here back from them so that I can get a date set. My question is, how long does it usually take for the insurance companies to get back in touch with my surgeon? I'm getting worried that that its going to take forever to get scheduled!!! I already did the whole 6 month supervised diet btw. Any help would be great!
