My 3 month labs
Hi everyone. I'm still struggling with my 2 duodenal ulcers (diagnosed--finally--2/12). I was so sick. Feeling better now--not throwing everything up, but my stomach still hurts all the time--every day. It hurts to eat and drink. I get about 60 g protein a day (usually from shakes). I was told to continue to hold off on starting my calcium supplements until ulcers are healed. I'm taking Omeprazole, Misoprostol and Sucralfate daily for the ulcers. I also take 6-9 Asacol a day for my ulcerative colitis. I've lost 62 lbs (yay!) but feel very tired and weak---looking forward to getting the ok to exercise (they said I can't until my ulcers are healed and I'm getting in 90+g protein). I have another endoscopy this Thursday to check on the ulcers in hopes they are shrinking. So, here are my 3 month labs. Doctor said all was "spot on" except potassium and gave me an Rx for it. I think some of them see low. Any input would be most appreciated. I tried to format this from my spreadsheet, but couldn't figure out how to do it! Thanks, MAJOR MOM for all the info you sent! I currently take (1) Celebrate Iron +C (carbonyl iron) 4 Celebrate Multi-ADEK vitamins a day
I don't think you can. OH's programming isn't the greatest.

I sent you an email back. You're doing all you can do until the docs say you can start regular vitamins due to the ulcers. The goals is to get to Vitalady's targets, or as close as is normal for your body, by 1 year post-op.
