How much did you lose during the liquid pre-sergery diet?

Just curious to see how much y'all lost during the Pre-Surgery liquid phase?? I'm just starting day 3 and the scale shows 8lbs down. I don't believe the scale at this point!

lol Good for you! I didn't have a pre-surgery diet but many do.

I wasn't required to go thru a pre-op diet. However, I did voluntarily low-carb a few weeks before my surgery and was down 20# on the day of surgery. My surgeon was pleased with the weight loss because my surgery was easier than it would be if I had not lost any weight.

I was told to loose 20 lbs which I did by doing Atkins. How ironic. How many days of liquid diet do you have to do?

I did Atkins for a month and lost 10 pounds, then for a week, I did liquid for 2 meals a day and all liquid for two days prior, lost 12 more pounds. Now that I have had the DS surgery, and am still on all liquid diet, I can't believe how quickly I am losing the weight!

I didn't have a pre-op diet, but I sorta accidentally lost 12 pounds in the 6 weeks between my initial consult and surgery. I went cold-turkey on sodas, but I ate---very well!
