Solvazinc® Effervescent Tablets - any good for DSers??
I can get these on script and was thinking about requesting it but I don't if it's any good for us (or if I'll cope with effervescent). There's more info here http://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/medicine/25407
It says "Zinc sulphate monohydrate: 125mg (equivalent to 45mg elemental zinc)" and it's OK to take up to 3 a day.
I currently take 175mg/day. 100mg mid morning and 75mg mid afternoon (away from other vites).
Is there a maximum amount we should take at once?
Any feedback is much appreciated - TIA

You might run this by Vitalady. I'm not too sure but I would doubt a sulfate form would be all that good for us.

I'd feel funny asking Michelle about something that's not her product. Weirdly it was something that my consultant mentioned to me in my follow up, but as is often said surgeons can be good surgeons but not necessarily for vites or nutrition. Maybe I'll assume it's not suitable given that I do have low zinc.
