Deactivated and Started another
I noticed that my original account name was being posted all over the internet. I was unaware that it would not be private when I clicked private. I have had many people ask me question about whether or not I am having WLS in the internet community that I game with and manage because my gamertag has now been affiliated with this website. It was humiliating. So I deactivated my account and started another. I am a bit disappointed and hope that once it is deactivated it might disappear from my gamer name on google search. I have a very unique gamertag and I am the only person that shows up with that name on google search so it really sucks that this information is now out there.
Anyway, Lizziethinner if you get this friend me. It won't let me friend you. =)
To regain some sense of control, I deactivated my account and created a new one. I'm still hoping that once the account is fully deactivated, it will eventually stop showing up in Google search results. It's frustrating that something as simple as trusting a privacy setting can result in such a big invasion of personal space. I truly hope the platform addresses this kind of issue better in the future.
