Baby steps. 18 months ago I didn't cook at all. To prove to DH that I could get the necessary protein I started to cook. With vites costing so much I'm starting to try cooking on a budget - I'm fortunate I have somewhere I can save money. ;)

DHs are OK, but dogs are great too. No arguing with dogs, just unconditional love! ;)

BITES: (DS WL Mode)
B - 2 sausage patties, 3 pieces of bacon, 1/2 sausage link (25 grams protein)
2nd B - greek yogurt w/protein (39 grams of protein)
S - 2 Lindor Chocolate Balls (Work - would have been better with cake (which I'm not ever tempted))

S - Protein Shake (21 grams)
L - Salmon (30 grams)
S - Protein Shake (21 grams)
S - Nut Thins

S - Dill Pickles
D - Shrimp ****tail (25 grams ) just guessing I'll eat about 5 shrimp
S - Greek Yogurt w/protein (39 grams)

Today may be the most protein I've ever gotten in at 200.  My shakes are probably a little more because I don't measure the scoop and it always has extra.  I'm trying to increase my food but it is sooooo hard to fit it in my tummy.  It seems to get smaller every day.  My saving grace is the plain greek yogurt w/18grams of protein.  I really feel that is making a world of difference in my life! Bumping up my protein with the greek yogurt!

VITES:

morning batch: done
4 calcium batches: done
iron:
evening batch:

I've got to get myself back on track! Maybe doing Atkins or something for a couple of weeks wouldn't be a bad idea:

B: 8 strips of turkey bacon and a piece of baklava (weird, I know)
B2: KC Strip steak, scrambled eggs, and a piece of toast
S: handful of pretzels
D: Alfredo pasta (God help my significant other as I sleep tonight), broccoli and cheese (oops, again!) and a couple of Hawaiian rolls (Oh Lord).

Pray for my intestines! Dinner was a BIG NO NO!

Yesterday, I did 1.7 miles and am sore today! Wahoo! Running/Walking
