I have had apnea for about 25 years long before obesity. It caused my obesity . Afib. Hiatal hernia. The ds was the final step in cureing that mess

If your sleep apnea is bad enough they will attach it to your oxygen after surgery.  During your surgery you will be intubated so there shouldn't be any worry there.

relax, I had 98, just a bit less than you have and my friend had 136. NO PROBLEM at all. We've got intubated for the surgery and were taken off the tube right after... no issues. Might need a bit more time on oxigen nasal tube postop (I had it for four days). That's it.

I had servere sleep apnea pre-ds. Thats one of the reasons I had it.  SInce I have lost the weight I have absolutely no problems!  And, I no longer snore :-)

 

As long as you have cardio-pulmonary clearance you will be fine. Just make sure you let your surgeon know.
