What vits are best to take together and which are best to take apart?

I tried googling this but cannot get a specific answer of what vitamins absorb better together and which ones fight for first in line?

I want to opitmize my schedule the best I can. I want to seperate them so they can play well together. ;D

Another question, what does of vit K do you take (curious)?

you have to check out vitalady. She had the WLS surgery, her husband had the WLS and they've both excelled. On top of that she's done more research about the nutrient needs of all the different types of surgeries. She's already done all of the work, now all you have to do is buy the vitamins from her. you an find her story on here on these boards and on her web site.

I take my calcium with my vit d in the morning  and I take my iron, vit c and multi together at lunch then I take more calcium at bedtime, Others seem to take a lot more then I do, not sure why we all seem so different in some things anyway. But I do know vit c works with iron and to never put iron and calcium together

my calcium (even though i take it with other vits except my bedtime dose) is in good shape but i know calcium is a 'bully' to other vits and just was curious if it would help other vits if i separated it:)

BTW I now only separate calcium from iron/copper (dose at same time) and zinc.  It was literally every 2 hours otherwise and I wasn't getting everything in if lost track of time.  My labs have been OKish so far (apart from zinc and iron) so only I'm only separating the problem areas, as people have advised that's the way to go (ie you have to go on your own lab work).

I figure if Vitalady and other vets don't separate them... although I'll tweak if needed.

I would love to hear this as well.

My Cardiologist told me to start taking iron w/Vitamin C.  It must have Vit C to be absorbed.  I do injectible B & D.

I'm in the middle of ordering Vits tonight.

I had previously learned on here that K is needed for Calcium to be absorbed.  I was taking the K from Country Life but I don't think it is absorbed at all.  So, I'm switching with these.

I'm ordering 2 different K's (these are the ones)

Carlson Labs - Vitamin K2 Menatetrenone 5 mg. - 60 Capsules

Superior Source - Vitamin K-1 Instant Dissolve 500 mcg. - 90 Tablets DAILY DEAL

I am going to try the Zinc Lozenges from Country Life.  I am also getting my favorite B which is Stress M from Country Life and the Superior Source Folic Acid.

Also, from before surgery, I always took a Magnesium Combo.  Magnesium and Calcium are needed together.

i already take the vitalady package but i do not take iron, so i am not worried there

i have recently had to seperate my A from all my other vits and i am thinking of doing the same with calcium

more curious on the ADEK's

my labs are looking good but if i can make them even better with less pills would be ideal, hence finding what vitamins combat

The ones to try to separate among the A, D, E, and K1 are A and K1. If you can take 1 of them with one dose and the other at another time that's a good thing. I take K2 with everything else. Some folks having trouble with absorption of a particular vitamin or mineral will try to take it away from everything else, for example, in the middle of the night when they get up to pee.

My dietitian is trying to help me bring my copper up, which dropped for no reason last labs. She wants me to keep copper and zinc separate from calcium as much as possible but not take copper and zinc together.  For my big batches in the morning and evening I hold calcium to the very very end hoping to give all the other vites a fighting chance.
