The crab bisque sounds nice and I was going to say that I can't see myself getting my hands on that and lo' the store I buy from sells that (I looked for a laugh).  There's no nutritional info on it though (I order online).  How much protein did you get from yours?  I know it can vary wildly, but I can't even guess it as I've never had it... I may be tempted if it has a nice protein number though!!

I'm getting bored of everything at the mo, so I'm really looking for some variety - hence my first ever ribs yesterday and the failed wings attempt... think I need to go to TGI Friday's and have American ribs though! ;-)

Anyways...

B Scrambled egg w lots of cheese 30
S Fromage frais 9
S Brie (yep I had a whole mini one) 36
L Chicken egg drop soup (I got a taste for it yesterday) 10
L Chicken satay 27
S Tiramisu 6
D Southern fried chicken 25
S Pistachios 15

Protein: 158
F 72+
V Nightime pending

The bisque doesn't have that much protein, that's why I add extra extra shrimp. The can says 3 grams of protein in 1/2 can but when you add 1/2 cream and 1/2 milk that number will go up some.

Or I could just Google it - duh!.  Turns out to be pretty low protein for lobster bisque and it's pretty expensive for what it is.  Bummer!!

it is hard for sure.  there are 9 different kinds of yummy home baked cookies in my basement.  out of sight out of mind.

this year i decided i was not going to eat sugary treats just to eat them.  it has to be home made or a specialty item.  no grazing past the candy bowl for a candy cane or eating store bought donuts from the work kitchen.  nah hah.

just hope no one brings in a bakery butter cake.  then i would be doomed.

I gained up a pants size but on Thanksgiving I rededicated to loosing that regain.  I lost some but am at a plateau.  Just need to be accountable and stay with my plan I think.  But feedback may point out some things I am not seeing.

Greek yogurt mixed with SF strawberry jelly and splenda

cheese sticks and slim jims

Atkins bar 4 net carbs

Taco salad: steak, cheese, sour cream, lettuce tomato..no chips

2 grilled fish filets with tartar sauce

diet double hot chocolate with heavy cream and Land O Lakes SF whipped cream x2 (8 carbs each)

Walking the dogs twice a day most days.  Once a day every day at least.

Looks spot on to me, Becky.  Give it a little more time.
