now the wait

All the check ups and evaluations are done all the paperwork as been sent to the doctors office and now I just have to wait. I think this is the hardest part because there is nothing I can do, I don't want to bother the office manager at the doctors office with another email asking if they have sent in the paper work, but I HATE waiting ( I already have my Christmas present ;) ) I just want the phone to ring and tell me that it has been approved and here is your date ! All good things come to those who wait right?

Yes, yes, yes!  I remember the waiting being sooooo hard!  Hope that phone rings soon.   :o)

I would say Ihad to wait 16 days.....but it was the longest wait. Hopefully your will be quicker! Praying that you get that phone call soon and we will be surgery buds! Yay Michelle!

hello, just wanted to tell you that in your same place, my Dr is Greenbaum. Tina his coordinator told me last week she will sent the paper work. but never told me how long was going take to have and answer back and very nervous, because my ins is NJ Family care. And my HMO ids Americhoice. just wanted to tell you that you are not alone and i hope God help you.

like you i want the DS. my weight is 270 and 25 i ready need this surgery. because a feel miserable. good luck

On Thursday, call the insurance company to make sure they received everything and have everything they need.  That way, you'll have another day this week to round up anything missing.

Waiting is the most difficult thing to do.  Hope a decision is made soon.

Good advice Valerie. The docto. Office just sent my paperwork to the ins. Co yesterday ( I ththought it was sent last week). I will call the ins. Co. Thurs. Do I just ask to speak to someone in what dept? Thanks! Yes this waiting gan Me is the pitts! We just are all so ready to b on the other side. This huffing and puffing around with this weight is killing me!

Thanks for the advice, I actuallly went to my insurances storefront office and they checked and saw that they didn't have anything in their system to I emailed the office mgr at my dr.s office and she said she was still waiting on the sleep study and letter from the pulmonary dr ( which was supposed to be sent LAST week) called them blah blah blah, doctor won't be in till Thursday to look at the letter then they should fax it to my dr. and she will sent it out asap because she is off next week and wants it sent in before then. UGH well at least I know where I stand as of now. lol. 

well one highlight was the lady at the insurance co after I told her about the surgery and the weight loss she said you don't have to loose 100lbs I looked at her and told her I planned on loosing more and how much I weighed she said you don't look that heavy I said thank you. I love that woman. :) and the pulmonary doctor better have that letter to Tina at my doctors office or I am not going to be a happy lady and they won't like it. Tina told me to call her Thursday to see if she got the letter because she wants to get everything in this week because she is going on vacation next week!!! Well something to look forward to hoping all this is in by Friday. :)
