I may have some cashews, but probably not - I guess 100g+ isn't too bad for an off day.

BTW that was the first time I've ever had ribs in my life (yes, we have an ex-veggie and one time vegan here, he, he).  I did try chicken wings with the skin on but I just couldn't.  I put one between my teeth and the skin just felt too slimey and that was a step too far for me.

Love wings, but not the slimy variety.  Mine must be fried.  Breaded or unbreaded, either way they must be fried.  Hooters actually has pretty good wings. They put the sauce on after the wings are deep fried but even that makes the wings too wet IMO so we order the sauce on the side.

I'm told KFC wings are good.  The skin's crispy apparently.  I've just never tried chicken skin as even as a toddler it grossed me out and I wouldn't touch it.  I may be brave and try again when the opportunity arises.  Having ribs was a pretty big step for me (generally the rule is, it mustn't look too much like what it was previously, ie of animal origin).

Weightloss Mode

B: leftover Mexican pork with white cheese dip

S: 6 chicken nuggets, a small french fry (McDonalds)

L: 2 boiled eggs mixed with a can of tuna and 4 T Miracle Whip

D: 2-3 bites of brocolli, chuck steak wrapped around havarti cheese, 1/2 an apple fried in butter

Fluids: 50 and counting

Vites: All in, but must get to the store and buy more calcium and b-complex

Carbs: 68 for the day, not happy, but not to the point of beating myself up

Protien: 103, going to try and get a shake in before bed

I hit my Christmas goal of reaching 225. I hit it on Saturday. So now I am thinking in the 2teens by New Years. I know there is some danger in giving myself timed goals, but it really keeps my carbs in check. If I keep my carbs below 50 I still lose 4-6 pounds a week.

You can do it!

I need to pull back on the carbs too.

"a" small french fry.  LOL - remember doing that too. Your bites sound delicious.  How do you fry an apple in butter? Do you slice it into rings and fry it in a skillet?  Sounds really good and bet it would be good with grated cheese on top, too, or SFcaramel sauce, or low carb high fat ice cream.

Congratulations on reaching your goal early. Keep up the good work.

huneypie, i know what you mean about slimy.  i was never a texture gal before the surgery.  now, i can just look at something slimy and my tummy flips over.  my scrambled eggs must be beaten to death.  if i even think i see white streaks in the cooked egg, i freak.
