does any one have days they do not take their vits?
I have not been as good as usual and I wonder if there is any one else out there. I am good about my calcium as it is a powder I put in my protein shake but I have set it up for the week and one cotainer which is meant for the day I am stretching it across more then a couple of days. I am not sure why I have been doing this as I read the awful stories and I like my teeth bones sight hair ect..............

Everyone is human, and some days, I do miss a dose here and there. If you've been consistent with your regimen, one or two days here and there is not going to hurt you. It's not taking your vites and calcium for stretches at a time
- or not taking them at all- that will lead to deficiency.
That said, I'm on the upside of a deficiency battle right now. I was very inconsistent while adminstrating my Mom's final six months and it showed in my labs. Just got retest reports today, and though my protein is a still 0.3 off, it's not at the dangerously low 2.0 and 3.0 levels that it was.levels it was.
Consistency is the key.
This is what I need to kick me in the booty........................... thanks......... I am not sure my body is out of wack and I posted about menopause I swear an alien has taken over my body as I am not acting like myself. I have exercised 4 times a week for the last several months however this week I have not since last Saturday. I am in a strange mood. Not being responsible is not something I need with my DS or other things for that matter.

Like others have said, we are all human.
But it is a bad habit to get into, no one but you will suffer if you don't take what you require.
Knock on wood, in the last 3 1/2 years I have only missed 3-4 times. I don't even think about it anymore, I just do it.
I hope things improve for you, including your vitamin taking.

thanks I am going to look at it as 30 days rather then a life time. Perhaps I will do better although today I will be honest I took my breakfast and my lunch and that was the last. I know this is bad. Then I start the next day with the evenings pills like that makes sense in some illogical world in my head.
It will get easier. I take vites in several combinations six times a day. I have, at last count, 13 different supplements. plus protein shakes. Do *not* let anyone talk you into giving up your shakes! Yu may not need to do as many, once you are on a solid diet, but it is really impossible to get all of the protein we need from food alone. Heck, my shakes are a treat for me, as well as helping me to get all my protein in.
