I GOT A DATE!!!

SO... they called today and said I was approved for the DS. They put me down for February the 18th. Which to me seems a bit far away but due to me being treated for H-Pylori right now it is a must. They told me I will have 4 visits with Dr. Oakley between now and then, can anyone tell me what to expect with those? As of right now I am so excited! I am sure however as time gets closer my anxiety will kick in and I will start to freak out at the thought of surgery. But for now all is good!

Congratulations!!  I'm not sure what his practice does. I think I had an appointment with the surgeon and the dietitian all in one afternoon pre-op.

Know nothing of Dr. Oakley, but wanted to say congratulations on your approval and surgery date. Excitement is most appropriate.

Thank you so much! I can hardly believe its happening. As for Dr. Oakley, I just thought it was strange going in for four visits. I can't for the life of me figure out what they are for.
