First Week Weigh-In Results!
Hey all! I just had my DS, about 8 or 9 days post-op here, and I just attended my first face-to-face support group with my surgeon's office. There was a scale there and my curiosity got the best of me. I wasn't going to go anywhere near the scale until the swelling and pain got better but I got on it anyways, expecting a gain. As it turns out, I was wrong. It said I lost 19 lbs. Holy cow!
I am both excited and hesitant to be excited. Before surgery, my normie body lost at the most a total of 30lbs and then start to regain. I stayed to my plan but for some reason my body would just regain it. So I am super excited for a loss but scared it is going to come back. I fear I will be that one person with the weird body that just nothing works for. I guess we all feel like this but I had to get my feelings out anyways. It's an emotional rollercoaster here. I am still in the hotel so maybe that's why everything is affecting me emotionally so much. Or maybe because Aunt Flo is back for round 2 lol. Oh well. Thanks for reading. I will get to bed now :)
That's great! Buckle up and enjoy the ride. : )

Had my surgery 12/12 (6 days ago) and am down 10 from surgery day. Aunt Flow came the 1st day after surgery, and my emotions are also really crazy. I know EXACTLY how you feel. I guess we just have to trust the tool, and follow the plans. Curious, are you still in quite a bit of pain? I am!
