I don't know much about the iron markers but I'd love to see your vitamin labs when they come in. I'm also really glad you're talking to Vitalady. She's awesome.

thanks gina, i called today to make a appt. with my ds surgeon. my appt is jan 10th. i had the vit panel drawn this am. results in one week. i alsked the secretary how much vitamin d's i should take. i told her i had not been feeling well since july. she said, vitamin d2 (drisel or someting like that) i should have 50,000 per day. and vitamin d3 10.5per day and calcium 3000per day. she was hesitant to give me any more information until my labs come in. so i presume their recommendation may be on the low side with the vitamin d. im contacting vitalady today and going to start ordering her brand. i did purcase the whey protein isolate today and aim to get 3 drinks per day while im feeling so shakey. im just praying and this may be wrong...that my vitamin labs come in low because if they are good then there is somthing else major wrong with me, ive been sick too long (since july). ive been throu 3 drs. gastro, hematologist and my regular dr.s and everything has checked out ok.  very frusturating, but rome wasnt built in a day!

Did you also get your feritin level checked? It can be low while your hemoglobin is "normal". Hope that an easy fix is revealed with your lab results and you feel better soon.

You're doing the right thing. Check with Vitaladay, or Kat, if Vitalady isn't there. Once you get your labs you can be more confident in what your doing with your labs, and definitely get a copy for yourself. Be firm with them and tell them you intend to start tracking your labs on a spreadsheet so you can watch for trends. You can post them here or send them to me and get some input on what might help with regards to vitamins.
