Gutless in Seattle is switched!
Just an update,
My surgery was on the 4th and took 8 hrs. I was up walking within hours, and was discharged on the 5th.
As some of you know there was a concern about scar tissue from a previous surgery and I was told that I might wake up with an RnY! Well, the surgeon didn't find much scaring, but did find two hernia's he needed to repair. In the end I ended up with a full DS so I'm very happy!
Recovery is going well, I'm on a clear liquid diet for a week, my head is clear, the pain is minimal, and I've been sipping and walking. I feel much better than expected!
