GOOD CARBS??

I am a year post and at my goal weight and I do not want to get any smaller I know they say we can up our carbs to gain or maintain our weight. But most carbs bother my stomach and gives the rumbles!! What are the good carbs that will not bother me??? I know my other option is Creon enzymes...
Personal preference...I would go with Creon before I'd add extra carbs. Carbs really bother my gut, YMMV.

Think complex carbs... whole grains and veggies. There is a hot cereal made by Bob's Red Mill called 5 Grain Rolled Hot Cereal that I swear by. It also has flax seed in it, and helps to keep the BM's nice and firm. Also Kashi (red box) cold cereal. It is 7 grain, and they do have a hot cooked version that you can even use to make a pilaf-type side di**** also has 13g of protein per serving, and I use it for my crunchy snack when I need one. Very lightly sweetened, and can be used so many ways, sprayed with melted butter and toasted in the oven with savory seasonings, too! I also found whole grain tortilla chips with seeds at Big Lots, under their "Fresh Finds" store brand. Tostitos Multigrain is a good crunchy snack option, too. I use Aunt Millie's 12 grain bread for sandwiches and toast. I am on Creon for life. Creon was given to me early out due to absorption issues, and I did not want a surgical revision. I was cautioned that Creon might make me gain weight, but it did not. Think of Creon as kind of a pharmaceutical revision, but for me it is a very mild revision, and just enough to kick up absorption to where it needs to be for me. My common channel is 75cm, the shortest of normal that my surgeon does. I just happened to measure out that way, because I asked for shorter, but she doesn't do short cc's anymore, due to too many issues leading to revisions. She goes strictly by the Hess Method.
Simple carbs, like white sugar, white flour, junk food, will only give you horrible gas and the runs. Stick to veggies and whole grains. Also, never completely let go of your shakes. There's protein in there that you need, and it will help put the brakes on any further loss.
Personally, I think it is nearly impossible to get all your protein in from food with the DS. I'm all for protein supplements.
