Unable to tolerate dairy- protein help
My experience at 5 weeks out is this: follow what your tummy can tolerate. I kept pushing and trying this and that to get my protein up and ended up vomiting for 2 days - including Thanksgiving!. I had to start over. Tea and juice for 24 hours then added chicken soup (Lipton's Chicken noodle and I eat some of the noodles) and Malt o Meal cereal; that is pretty much all I can tolerate.
I have been trying to add egg drop soup (nope) and whey protein isolate clear drinks (nope) and realize that I had gotten my stomach so irritated by trying to eat things that it just rebelled!! I don't want to do that again, so I am just going to ease it along. I decided that it is the boss - not the eating plan from the surgeon!
