What Vitamin Deficiency Causes...

thin skin on the legs.  I had my 3 month labs, overall, they were not bad ~ I am on injectible B12 now.  There are areas on my skin on my legs that is like crepe paper thin.  While talking to one of my BFF's last night, she said it happened to her grandmother when she got older.  She said it is a vitamin deficiency, couldn't remember which one.

Does anyone know which one?  I want to add whatever I need to what I'm taking.

Thanks!

There's been a thread floating around on the main board for, oh, 3-4 years now about thinning skin on the arms. No conclusions were reached, other than thinning skin is a natural result of aging, and that sun damage worsens it.

You could try Biotin.  We usually talk about it for hair, but it's also for nails and skin.  I'm thinking a 5000mcg sublingual but maybe somebody else will chime in on the dosage.

What kind of cream do you use?  I just recently started using Eucerin with alpha hydroxy on my arms and wow, they got really smooth in just 5 days!

Ms Batt, I found the thread about the arm.  Mine is on my legs, specifically on my knees and behind them.   I was hoping someone knew about it.  I was hoping!

I do take 5000mcg x 2 daily, plus Horsetail which help, skin nail & hair.  My nails are growing like crazy!  My hair loss is minimal.  I have a couple of bald "type" spots.  My BFF just gave me some Morroccan Oil Scalp Treatment to help with the hair regrowth.  We will see if it works on that.

I'm on a mission to find out... Will let you all know what I find... I came here first... :-)
