I think it's been too long since I've been to Montana.  What a beautiful place.  And you can walk for miles without seeing another person.  Beautiful elk, good shot.  Keep that video so you can look at it when you are old.  You will also be able to prove you shot one!

A friend of mine won a moose permit once in Wyoming.  You can only hunt in places you can drive a truck.  There's so much meat you need a truck and a winch to get it out!

this is eastern montana where it is not as beautiful by any means compared to western montana (where i live) :) but it still has its charm. i was also lucky enough to get a moose :) they are bigger than an elk by far and man oh man do they have lots of meat. i was not lucky enough to have a winch....i had to pack him out lol i will be keeping these memories for a lifetime :) thanks again patty, it was so much fun!

That was beyond awesome. I had been wondering how your hunt went. Was this the week long hunt with your Dad or another one? I can't not show this video to my husband or he'll be wanting to move to Montana. I love what your church does during the hunting season.

yea we are a great church:) so many things ! yea this was my week hunt, i also tagged a buck 2 days after that too lol :)

Awesome video.  Great shooting, and what a nice elk.  I am a hunter too, I hunt whitetail deer, and game birds, turkey.  I had a tag for a moose this year but didn't even see a track from one.  Last year I had no tag and had 1 stay by me for about 4 hours.  (That was torture  LOL).  Nice to see other female hunters, Great job.  Barb
