Anyone have experience with Dreamfields low carb pasta or any other "healthy" pasta's or pasta alternatives?

If I eat pasta I eat the regular kind. I struggle (intestinally) with a lot of the alternative pastas as they tend to use more whole grains. The more whole grains something has the more distress it causes me.

If I eat bread, the whiter the better for my stomach. :)

Tried it once a long time ago and still got a lot of gas so didn't see much advantage to using it.  Others have had better experiences with it.

Thanks for the info. Trying to make DS enemy dishes more DS friendly.

I use it regularly and LOVE it.  But I don't have any issues with any carbs intestinally.  I can (unfortunately) eat carbs to my hearts content and rarely notice excessive gas/bloating or anything.  The only thing that does that to me is high fat and then we all know what happens to that next.  LOL

I haven't tried this pasta.  I know  that my body still cannot process a lot of fat.  The Dr's say that's ok not to worry.

I'm 6 1/2 years out and still fats go right through me.  I think it will be that way for life -- which I'm okay with.  :)

At 6 yrs out, has it affected anything example hair & skin.  The Dr said that's what it affects more than anything else but if I'm taking the Vits ok, it should be ok.

I cannot do flour products except tortillas.  I doubt I will even try them again for a long long long time.  LOL!

I haven't really noticed anything with skin, but my hair is much thinner than it was when younger.  It seems to fall out more and is coarser (but I'm also all gray now, so that could be the reason for the coarseness).

I don't get oil slicks anymore at 3 3/4 years, but I have floaties (BM's that float).  That means they're full of fat, and that my DS is working as it should.
