I'm in CA but just got an email from my daughter in PA saying all classes are canceled until storm is over. They are worried about the big ancient trees falling, electricity failing, and general havoc. She is thrilled to have a few days to catch up on school work, hoping the library is open. --at least that's what she tells me....

Right now it is raining and the winds are picking up, it is supposed to make landfall about 30 miles from where I am, we have enough munchies and water just keeping fingers crossed we don't loose power (house is run by electric) So far my daughters schools have closed for Monday and Tuesday and hubbies school in Newark closed for tomorrow. No mass transit is running and the Prez just delcared us a disaster area for FEMA, we are inland so I don't have to worry about flooding. They are going to feel this as far away as Michigan and VA & WVA has snow elerts. CRAZY weather.
