major issues with dry skin
Since surgery I have had dry skin and I have dealt with it by drinking more water and increasing my fat intake or that might be for constipation but none the less I have used topical creams as well. However now it is so excessive I am itching all over and certain areas as in my thighs it appears almost as if my eczema is causing me a problem and I have used my topical script but it is such a large area I will go through my script in a matter of days. Any ideas to assist in resoling this problem?

If you have loose skin, too that may be part of the problem. You didn't say if you've got that issue as well, but with me, it's a contributor. especially with my thighs, because I carried a lot of my weight there.
I have had bouts of cellulitis since I had surgery, due to germs getting into the small cracks in dry skin. I never had cellulitis when I was SMO.
The thing that's going to make my skin better, in my doctor's opinion is getting the excess skin removed, with a lower body lift and thighplasty.
I don't have an apron, so I can live without a tummy tuck.
I use this new lotion by Vaseline called Intensive Repairing Moisture Rescue that works well. There's also a cream called Aquaphor, which is almost like plain solid Crisco...in fact...A long time ago when I had dry skin issues, a dermatologist told me to use some plain Crisco after bathing. It seals in the moisture from the water.

I have been using Coconut Oil and Jojoba Oil, taking showers at night... It really helps... My legs and arms are really dry.
For my face, I now take my makeup off with Jergen's Cold Cream then wa**** That has really helped it.
I'm nearly 3 months out.
IMHO, the fat will actually help the hair out more than the skin. I've worked with skin for a long time. It will help out constipation issues!

A trip to the dermatologist might be wise. My GF's mother thought she had eczema but she had caught scabies that was traced back to her stay in the hospital.

Vit E - I take Vitalady's 400iu 1/day and it keeps that dry skin and itching at bay.
