Hi, I have used Dreamfields a few times and found it doesn't cause the ... distress ... that regular pasta did (had it once, that was enough).  Is it technically "legal"?   Will having it a couple of times a week slow me down or completely derail me?

Any info is greatly appreciated!!

I dont eat it a couple times a week.  More like once every few weeks.  And I never reheat it (reheating or overcooking kills the "magic" of the protected carbs).  Supposedly, the carb complex is protected by some sort of processing, that makes it so (when cooked properly and NOT reheated) the carbs aren't absorbed and it becomes a 5g total carb per serving pasta.  It is recommended by the American Diabetic Association as a low glycemic index food.  I also do not get gastric distress from it (but I dont really get it from anything for that matter).  Im also Italian, so learning how to cook & live without pasta was QUITE an undertaking for me.  Dreamfields allows me to still enjoy it once in a while.  What I do is just make half a box at a time, so there are no leftovers (when feeding my family), or if I DO make the entire box, I will have leftovers used cold like in pasta salad.  Only you will know how your body reacts to it.  It never slowed or derailed my loss personally.

That helps alot, thanks!

I'm single, not a great cook to begin with (I like cooking, I just suck at it), and I'm not a huge fan of leftovers for dinner (I think it's the process/routine of making dinner I like), so the ocassional mac and cheese makes life sooooo much easier!

Where did the carbs come from? Just the pineapple? Nothing else looks like it would be carby at all.
